Our Story

The Wolfhound Legacy Continues…

The Wolfhound, featured on the Stirling County Rugby Football Club crest, is far more than a symbol. It represents a deep connection to Stirling’s history, its local legends, and its strong regional identity.

Its roots can be traced back to the 9th century, and that spirit of strength, loyalty, and community continues today through the Stirling County Wolfhound Trust.

While the story has evolved over time, the values remain unchanged – strength, community, and tradition – now carried forward in a way that is also welcoming, inclusive, and accessible for the next generation of players, families, and supporters.
